Pancard Safety Instructions - Your Safety
1. Please note that The Income Tax Department NEVER asks for your PIN numbers,
passwords or similar access information for credit cards, banks or other financial accounts through e-mail.
2. Please note that The Income Tax Department appeals to taxpayers NOT to respond to such e-mails and NOT to
share information relating to their credit card, bank and other financial accounts.
3. Do not apply for Pan Card through private parties. Always apply through authorized centres ONLY.
Applying for Pancard requires you to provide important documents such as your identification etc. Hence it is recommended that you always
ensure your safety and apply via authorized service centers only.
